Our story, who we are, how we live . . . it’s all about Jesus.
GENESIS is a growing church in Woburn, MA, but South Boston is part of our continuing story. GENESIS plans to launch Sunday worship gatherings in South Boston, in the fall of 2012.
While we’re excited about gathering for a worship celebration on Sundays, we don’t believe church is merely an event to attend, but rather it is who we are as a people redeemed by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We don’t just go to church, we are the church.
We seek to live this out throughout the week in Community Groups, small groups of people (6-12) who live life together as:
Family, gathering together in homes at least weekly to share meals, listen to each other’s stories, and pray for one another.
Missionaries, sharing the message of Jesus’ love, forgiveness, and reconciliation with God.
Servants, seeking to make the city a better place to live.
Learners, who by God’s grace are continually learning to allow who Jesus is and what he has accomplished on our behalf to shape everything about us.
